Animal Rescue
Animal Rescue Site Needs Our Help …. For Free!
You may have seen this going around but the Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box "fund food for animals" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! PLEASE PASS IT ALONG to people you know.

An eBay Trading Assistant
I have known Michael for many years. He is a true friend and is an expert in assisting people (since 1989!) in cleaning out their homes or estates after relocating or after the loss of a loved one. Michael buys antiques, old documents & papers, old paintings & musical instruments, early almanacs and photographs and every imaginable item associated with estate sales. Michael also asks, “have you looked in the attic, cellar or catch-all lately? You'd be surprised at the value that can be found there.”

Electronic Online Companies
We can help your small- or medium-sized company or your nonprofit organization receive payments and/or donations by credit or debit card, or by electronic check, in any medium of communication used today: wireless data transmission, face-to-face, phone, fax, e-mail or internet. We eliminate the costly delays in paper-shuffling, in the mail, and at the bank.
To be most valuable to our clients, we make recommendations drawing on our in-depth understanding of the specific application to prevent any regulatory or implementation issues, augmented by our past work experience in the trenches, so to speak. Everything we do is customized to the client's needs. We have been complimented for our dedication to excellence in customer service, a rare trait in business today.

NEW Dan Fogelberg CD
Our friend Fred Migliore, host of FM Odyssey, the long-running nationally syndicated radio show, has released a 2 CD interview retrospective with Dan Fogelberg. During the interview, Fred engaged Dan in a wonderful, animated conversation about Dan's first 25 years in the music business. You will hear 13 full-length songs, including "Same Old Lang Syne," "Nether Lands," "The Last Nail," and "Mountains To The Sea," as well as Dan's thoughts on many of those songs. I got such a huge response from my February 2008 missive about Dan, who passed on in December 2007 from prostate cancer, I thought you would be interested in this recording. This 2 CD Collector's Edition is available for $29.95 at www.fmodyssey.com. Three dollars from each CD sold will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in Dan's name.

Safe and Sound Video
Mark McKellar
A couple of years ago I started a little, tiny side business. I take people's home movies and convert time to DVD. I can do all kinds of film and video formats - hell, I've even got an old Betamax player. It's really turned into a nice little business for me - If I can grow it a little more, it may turn out that I've created my own job instead of working for someone else full-time.

Secretary of the Arts
You may have seen this already, but it is so important I am passing it on. Quincy Jones has started a petition to ask President-Elect Obama to appoint a Secretary of the Arts. While many other countries have had Ministers of Art or Culture for centuries, The United States has never created such a position. The arts need this and we in this country need the arts--now more than ever. Please take a moment to sign this important petition and then pass it on to your friends and colleagues.
